Work is due to begin on a £200,000 roads maintenance programme in Ayrshire.
Scotland TranServ will begin resurfacing the A76 south of Cumnock on Monday, 04 July.
Resurfacing will take place over 1km of the route between Calton Farm and Rail Bridge to prolong the lifespan of the route.
Works will be carried out between 7am – 7pm until Friday, 08 July.
Andy Fraser, operating company representative, Scotland TranServ, said: "This maintenance scheme is vital to ensuring that we prolong the lifespan of the road surface, providing long term benefit to A76 road users.
"We are doing everything we can do minimise disruption by carrying out these works using a convoy system, however we would advise motorists to plan ahead and leave plenty of time for their journeys."
