Work has been completed on a £1.4 million water main project on Iona.
Engineers replaced an ageing water main with a new 0.8 mile-long pipe under the Sound of Iona.
A specialist barge was used to install the new pipe, which will link with the network on Mull and aims to improve the resilience of the water supply.
Ruaridh MacGregor, Scottish Water's Regional Communities Manager, said: "We are committed to investing in communities across Scotland to maintain and improve our water network and services to customers.
"The new water main will significantly improve the resilience of the island’s water supply for many years to come."
