East Dunbartonshire Council is inviting residents to find out more information about the regions Local Development Plan (LDP).
Drafts of the Design and Placemaking document, as well as the Developers Contributions document, have now been published. Each document will give further information and detail on policies set out in the proposed LDP.
When approved, each policy will be used to determine planning applications, along with forming part of the LDP.
Cllr Alan Moir has encouraged residents to view the documents and provide their feedback.
"The aim is that - after the findings of public consultation are taken into consideration - these documents will be adopted by the Council alongside the LDP, and will inform decisions on planning applications," he said.
"They will help applicants and the public understand the Council's expectations and requirements for good quality new developments, and help speed up their delivery."
