Student Pavilion Project Wins Accolade At Design Awards

A student pavilion building project in Clackmannanshire has won an accolade at the Scottish Design Awards.

The new building was developed in the grounds of Dollar Academy School and received the Best Best Education Building or Project Award.

The teaching block development was delivered by CCG over a 45-week period before the start of the 2015/16 academic year.

Designed by Page Park Architects, features include up to 10 classrooms over two floors as well as support staff and pupil accommodation.

In addition, a cantilevered floating glazed access galleria was built for the classrooms on the second floor, along with ventilation chimneys which rise above the mono pitch zinc roof.
