A bridge in the Scottish Borders is set to close for inspection works next month.
The B-listed Lowood Bridge will be shut between 9:30am and 4pm on Thursday, 02 June and Friday, 03 June.
The closure will allow structural engineers to use a large mobile platform and carry out a detailed assessment of the 250-year-old structure.
Councillor Gordon Edgar said: "It is important the Council can fully inspect the bridge to discover its current condition. From that, the Council can make an informed decision on whether remedial work is needed."
