A new £53,000 play park has opened in East Dunbartonshire.
The improved Rosebank play area was officially opened by Councillor Stewart MacDonald and children from nearby Oxgang Primary School.
It was created as part of the local authority's 10-year Capital Programme and is in line with the Council's Open Space Strategy.
The play area includes swings, climbing units and slides. An adult fitness area was also created at the northern end of Blackburn Crescent.
Cllr MacDonald said: "I am delighted to open this fantastic new community facility which I am sure is going to be a much-welcomed amenity for local children and families that will bring smiles to lots of faces for many years to come.
"The slope of the hill here meant that there were limitations as to how much of the site could be improved for play but what has been achieved is nothing more than a transformation.
"So much thought has gone into the design and construction and there is so much for children of all ages to enjoy."
