Almost £300,000 of resurfacing and roadmarking works are due to begin on the A75 at Skyreburn.
Scotland TranServ will begin resurfacing over 1km of road from Tuesday, 31 May until 10 June.
To ensure the safety of road users and workers, the project will have a convoy system in place between 7am – 7pm each week day.
Andy Fraser, operating company representative, Scotland TranServ: "This essential maintenance scheme is vital to ensuring we prolong the lifespan of the road surface benefiting over 3000 road users using this section of the A75 each day."
