A series of public consultations discussing coastal erosion are due to take place in Angus.
The updated Shoreline Management Plan 2 provides a large-scale assessment of the erosion and flooding risks along the coast.
It sets out sustainable ways to manage what risks are presented to people and property, and to developed, historic and natural environments.
The document will allow the Coast Protection Authority and other decision makers to manage risks from flooding and coastal erosion.
Discussions with community councils have already taken place, however the local authority is now seeking the views of residents.
The public consultations will be held at:
• Montrose Sports Centre, 3pm – 7pm on Monday, 30 May.
• Carnoustie Leisure Centre, 2:30pm – 7:30pm on Tuesday, 31 May.
• Voluntary Action Angus, 32-34 Guthrie Port, Arbroath, 3pm – 7pm on Wednesday, 01 June.
