Lovell has started work to deliver a £6 million housing development in North Lanarkshire.
The Glasgow-based firm will create 55 new homes for Link Group in Moodiesburn.
The Mollins Gate development is being built on the site of the former Moodiesburn House Hotel in Cumbernauld Road.
As part of the contract, Lovell will create training opportunities for local residents, including an apprenticeship, five jobs and seven work placements.
Lovell regional director Alan Taylor said: "This scheme will create desirable modern homes in a great location just 15 minutes from Glasgow city centre, including homes for social rent, shared equity properties helping people on to the housing ladder and homes for open market sale."
Link Group chair Roy Stirrat added: "We look forward to working with Lovell throughout the course of the development to build these new, high-quality affordable homes in Moodiesburn."
