The Glasgow and West of Scotland Forum of Housing Associations (GWSF) has published a detailed guide to the housing pledges made by the five main political parties in their 2016 manifestos.
The guide highlights each parties pledges relating to housing supplies, social housing, homelessness, housing stock, housing aspects on social security and private rented sector.
For example, the guide reveals that in their manifestos, the Scottish National Party has pledged "£3 billion to build 50,000 new homes, with at least 35,000 for social rent"; while Labour has committed to "60,000 new affordable homes, with 45,000 being for social rent" and the Conservatives pledge "50,000 new affordable homes".
The guide goes on to examine all claims made by the parties, highlighting figures committed to.
