A major milestone has been reached on the construction of a new £11.5 million primary school in East Dunbartonshire.
A topping out ceremony has been held to mark the completion of brickwork on the Lenzie Meadow Primary School project.
The scheme is being delivered by Lendlease in partnership with hub West Scotland (hWS).
It forms part of the council's Primary School Improvement Programme (PSIP).
Features include classrooms with LCD touchscreens, Wi-Fi throughout the building, multi-use games area in the grounds, covered outdoor learning areas and small and large group work spaces.
Council Leader Rhondda Geekie said: "The progress of the building has been remarkable and it has been very exciting for the children to see each stage of the new school taking shape since work began in the summer."
Chief Executive of hWS, Debbie McNamanra, added: "It was positive to see the progress being made with the construction of the new Lenzie Meadow Primary School and to share this milestone with some of the pupils.
"We will continue to work with our main contractor, Lendlease and the Council to achieve a successful handover during the summer."
The new school is due to open in August.
