Wood Group PSN Wins £342m Contract In Azerbaijan

Energy firm Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) has secured a £342 million contract to deliver services for BP-operated projects in Azerbaijan.

The Aberdeen-based company will provide engineering, procurement and construction management services (EPCM) to eight offshore facilities.

In addition, the deal will create 200 jobs and has the option of two, two-year extensions.

Wood Group Kenny is already providing subsea engineering services to the platforms under a multi-million dollar contract announced in October 2015.

David Buchan, WGPSN's eastern region MD, said: "Wood Group has a 40 year history of working with BP across their global assets and this new contract award is reflective of the strong relationship we maintain with this key client, built on collaboration and continued excellence and assurance in our service delivery."
