SSE has launched a new 100% renewable energy contract for businesses.

'SSE Green' allows organisations to manage and report their Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG).

The company will supply renewable energy matched to Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origins (REGOs), ensuring purchased electricity has been generated through a portfolio of wind and hydro assets.

Terry Tippell, SSE's Director of Business Energy, said: "We are delighted to offer this new contract to business customers which allows them to demonstrate their commitment to renewable and sustainable goals, as well as enhancing their environmental reputation and commitment to customers and other stakeholders. Equally, large organisations can benefit greatly by being able to report zero emissions for their purchased electricity."
