A BAM Properties development in Glasgow has been nominated for an accolade at the Office Agents Society (OAS) Development Awards.
The CONNECT110NS office development at 110 Queen Street is the only Scottish finalist in the in the Best Development Outside Central London category.
Covering 166,000 sq ft over nine floors, the building was designed by architects Cooper Cromar and built in June last year.
Mark Broderick, Development Director Scotland, BAM Properties, said: "The architect’s brief was to design a building which would not only provide wonderful contemporary Grade A office and retail accommodation but would make a real impact on Queen Street without detracting from the historical buildings nearby such as the Gallery of Modern Art.
"When we first saw the plans for the building we knew that it was going to be really special but even we were surprised by how well the final execution of the building has worked and by the excitement it has generated in the market.
"When we started work on the building at the height of the recession it was an enormous leap of faith but with all of the offices space now leased and only 10,035 sq ft of retail space left, we can finally say our confidence in Glasgow and the building has been justified."
The winners will be announced at a gala lunch at the Pavilion Tower of London on 24 June.
