Councillors are to consider investing £40,000 to upgrade a sheltered lounge area in Dundee.
Plans for facility at Alva Square will be discussed by the neighbourhood services committee on Monday, 25 April.
Dundee Contract Services would carry out the work, which includes improvements to toilet and laundry areas, as well as electrical works to the lounge.
Cllr John Alexander said: "I am pleased that this proposal is coming forward and I am certain that these improvements will make a difference for the residents. This is part of our long-term and ongoing building investment commitment across the city and follows improvements to a number of lounges in Dundee.
"We continue to set aside £150,000 each year to improve the quality of our sheltered complexes."
