A series of planning and design workshops are due to take place in Fauldhouse, West Lothian Council has announced.
Education charity PAS (Planning Aid for Scotland) will host the exhibitions at Fauldhouse Partnership Centre to develop a plan for the future of the village.
The charrette will take place between Wednesday, 11 May and Saturday, 14 May.
Activities will take place in the run up to the event including workshops with local schools, youth groups, local businesses, civic groups and organisations in the West Lothian Community Planning Partnership.
Cllr for development and transport, Cathy Muldoon, said: "Fauldhouse Focus is a great opportunity for people who live, work and do business in Fauldhouse to help shape the future of the village.
"We hope to see many inspiring ideas come from the workshops being held, and we hope to see the whole community come together to plan for positive changes for Fauldhouse."
PAS Chief Executive Petra Biberbach added: "We have worked with many communities across Scotland and are genuinely excited to be working in partnership with West Lothian Council and the people of Fauldhouse. What will be created is community mandate and legacy to support positive change."
