Work is underway on a new housing development in East Dunbartonshire.

CCG have began developing the 40-home Baldoran Gate project in West Baldoran, Milton of Campsie.

A total of 22 homes will be made available for council rent, while 18 will be built for sale under the new supply shared equity scheme.

In addition, 38 of the homes will feature a traditional brick cladding, with the remaining two units utilising an advanced stage of CCG's off-site process where homes feature a factory-applied cladding solution which replicates a traditional brick finish.

Calum Murray, Director of CCG (Scotland), said: "We are proud to continue our partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council by bringing new high quality, affordable and energy efficient homes to West Baldoran. This is the first of two projects confirmed in the East Dunbartonshire area this year and we hope to continue our strong relationship with the Council into the future."

The project is scheduled for completion by December 2016.
