A £310,000 resurfacing project is due to begin on the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland TranServ has announced.
The maintenance scheme at Annan will get underway on Friday, 15 April.
The project involves resurfacing over half a kilometre of road along the route.
To facilitate the works, a total road closure will be in place on the A75 from the layby east of Annan to Prestonfield Road from 7.00pm on Friday 15 April to 6.00am on Monday 18 April.
Andy Fraser, operating company representative, Scotland TranServ, said: "This maintenance scheme is vital to ensuring that we prolong the lifespan of the road surface, providing long term benefit to A75 road users."
