Property developer Whiteburn has submitted a planning application to develop new offices in Glasgow.
Proposals designed by Bennets Associates include transforming the A-listed 64 Waterloo Street into a 100,000 sq ft Grade A office complex to be known as The Still.
The main historical elements of the site will be retained, including the B-listed Distillers House Building, with a new 14-storey structure build behind.
Mike Buchan, lead director at JLL, who are advising Whiteburn alongside Phil Reid Associates, said: "The Still will offer some much-needed Grade A space for the city’s existing occupiers and a new generation of ambitious businesses."
Whiteburn is hoping to achieve planning consent for the project later this year, allowing construction to begin on site in 2017.
Completion is scheduled for 2019.
