The Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) has approved plans to improve two scenic routes in the region.
Planning permission for the installation of new features was granted on Friday, 19 February.
Works at the Devil's Elbow at Glenshee include developing a viewpoint seat, path and visitor information point at the layby at Creagan Nam Cam.
In addition, an elevated viewpoint designed to acknowledge the history at Craighaulkie Quarry on the outskirts of Tomintoul will be installed.
The plans follow on from the installation of cowled seats called 'The Watchers' at Corgarff and is part of the Scottish Government's Scenic Routes project.
