A £460,000 water improvement project is due to begin in Angus, it has been announced.
Ageing sections of water mains will be replaced with new polyethylene pipes between Bridge of Margie and Lethnot Primary School in Lethnot and Bridgend.
The project is due to begin on 22 February and will last for approximately four months.
Project Manager Allan MacDonald said: "This work is required to improve the quality of the water mains and to reduce the chance of pipes bursting.
"Most of the work is within fields and rural land however there will be occasions where we will be working in the road and on verges.
"During the work there will be a requirement to close the road at the Bridge of Margie on 7 March 2016, for approximately two weeks. Signage will be put in place in advance of the road closure and local diversions in place."
