Work is underway on a £1.1 million primary school extension in West Lothian.
The scheme will be delivered by Maxi Construction at Blackridge Primary School.
Features include a new games hall complete with modern changing facilities and a new main entrance way.
In addition, a new reception area will be built alongside internal alterations to allow disabled access between the various levels within the existing school.
Councillor David Dodds said: "I am delighted to see work starting on the £1.1 million extension to Blackridge Primary School."
Maxi Construction's MD John Aitchison added: "Maxi Construction is pleased to continue its association with West Lothian Council in the provision of new education facilities which will ultimately benefit local communities."
The project is due to be completed by Autumn 2016.
