Work to create a temporary road in Aberdeenshire has been completed by the council.
After part of the A93 at Micras was damaged by the River Dee during severe weather, work got underway to create a diversion around the affected section.
The project was completed yesterday, 17 January.
In the coming months, the council will consider options for a permanent replace and riverbank reinstatement following discussions with the landowner.
Councillor Stephen Smith said: "The road has been created in a short space of time which is commendable.
"I thank the council's Infrastructure Service and further work will take place to reinstate the road and riverbank to improve the route as the authority continues to repair damage and recover from the recent flooding."
