Nearly £80,000 of investment has been lined up for two parks in Dundee, it has been announced.
A new surface is being proposed for the play area at Baxter Park, with plans in place to landscape the former bowling green area.
In addition, proposals have been put forward to create a dog exclusion zone by putting in fencing around the play area.
The plans have been created through consultation with community group Friends of Baxter Park.
Councillor Vari McDonald said: "These investments in parks shows how we are working in close partnership with local people who get involved in their parks.
"They are playing an important part in our Take Pride in Your City campaign.
"This investment in both Baxter and Dudhope parks are intended to improve the areas for our local communities, help improve safety and reduce the long-term maintenance burden."
The plans will be discussed by Dundee City Council's environment committee on Monday, 07 December.
