Drum Property Group has revealed further details of a £35 million shopping centre redevelopment in Ipswich.
A new 12-screen Empire cinema will be located at the heart of the redeveloped Buttermarket shopping complex.
Other features of the project include a new 20,000 sq ft gym, nine new restaurants, new retail units and an extensive refurbishment of the centre's interior.
The Aberdeen-based developer and specialist shopping centre REIT, Capital & Regional, purchased Buttermarket for £9.2m in March.
The joint venture secured planning consent from the council to redevelop the 250,000 sq ft centre in June.
Graeme Bone, Group MD, said: "This is a transformative scheme for Ipswich, and we expect the additional footfall generated by the leisure and dining elements to have a widespread economic benefit."
