Ogilvie Construction To Build £22m Hotel

Motel One Group has selected Ogilvie Construction to develop a new £22 million hotel in Glasgow.

The 374-room hotel is to be built in Oswald Street and will be one of the largest in Scotland.

In addition, it will feature the typical One Lounge, which is a living room, breakfast cafe and bar all in one.

The new hotel will open in 2017.

Donald MacDonald, MD of Ogilvie Construction, said: "We are delighted to be working with Motel One to deliver their vision for a new hotel in the centre of Glasgow.

"The building will be constructed to the highest standards, combining the use of high quality materials with our extensive experience and understanding of the needs of the hotel and leisure sector."
