A programme of roadworks is set to begin on a road bridge in Glasgow, Scotland TranServ has announced.
Over £120,000 of works on the Nithsdale Road Bridge over the M77 is set to begin on 08 November.
Features of the project include improving the quality of the road surface, waterproofing the bridge deck, carrying out concrete repairs and joint replacement.
A series of road closures will be implemented on:
• 08 November, overnight total closure from 8pm to 6am.
• 20, 21 and 22 December, overnight total closures 8pm to 6am.
• 04 and 04 December, overnight total closures 8pm to 6am.
Traffic lights will also be implemented for 24 hours beginning 08 November to 06 December.
Gordon Wilson, contractor director, Scotland TranServ said: "It is essential that we carry out this scheme to improve Nithsdale Road Bridge; benefiting local residents and motorists for years to come."
