Local volunteers in Forres have set up a community planning platform for the public to contribute towards local planning developments.
The Forres 2020 Vision scheme will allow residents to put forward ideas for the development of green spaces and publicly owned land/buildings over the next ten years.
Using a planning process called 'Planning for Real', a large 3D model of the town will be created.
It will be used a visual aid to generate discussion about how Forres could look by the year 2020 and beyond.
Suggestions by residents will used to form an action plan, which in turn will be used to shape the Moray Local Development Plan along with the 2020 Open Space Strategy for Moray.
Local residents are being invited to Forres Town Hall through late October and November to help create the 3D scale model.
Sessions will be held on Tuesday's from 10am to noon and on Thursday's from 7pm to 9pm.
