A road in Clydebank is to be closed for six weeks due to improvements being carried out to Scottish Water's waste water infrastructure.
The £1.8m project will increase the capacity of the sewer network in the Old Street area of Clydebank.
A section of Dumbarton Road between the Great Western Road exit (north west end) along with the junction of Dumbarton Road, Morrison Street and Old Street, will be closed to allow enabling work to continue.
The project involves developing a new underground storage tank and associated pipe work at and near the junction of Old Street, Dumbarton Road and Morrison Street.
The investment will enable the network to hold more waste water during times of heavy rainfall and reduce the risk of flooding of several properties.
The work is being carried out by amey Black & Veatch (aBV).
The road closure is to take place on Monday, 2 November.
