McLaughlin & Harvey (M&H) has been appointed as main contractor of two education construction projects in Scotland.
The contracts have a combined value of £10.8m.
The firm is to develop the £6.6m Bilston Primary in Midlothian and the £4.2m Levenmouth Campus Development in Fife, where work began earlier this month.
At Bilston, M&H will deliver the complete design and construction of a single storey eight classroom primary school and nursery.
The company will also install a multi-use games arena, a sports pitch with flood lighting and car parking facilities.
It will be the first school to cater for all primary ages in the village, accommodating up to 200 pupils.
In addition, Fife College and Fife Council will join together to create the Levenmouth Campus Development, comprising of a secondary school and college outreach hub.
M&H are to create a 2,515 sq m two-storey building, providing accommodation for the college to deliver a range of entry level courses. Features include an engineering workshop, hairdressing salon, training kitchen, general teaching facilities, staff accommodation and café area.
