Glasgow-based BAM Properties has announced the appointment of Dougie Peters as Managing Director.
He will succeed retiring MD John Burke.
Mr Peters is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and a qualified CA.
He trained with KPMG following which he held a number of positions within both commercial and residential property companies.
In 2005, he joined BAM Properties as Finance Director.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr Peters said: "I relish the role ahead, particularly at a time in the market with so many opportunities for a developer that has imagination and a real feel for what appeals to investors and occupiers."
Current developments in Scotland include the CONNECT110NS office development on Queen Street and Atlantic Square, a £100m mixed use development with Taylor Clark Properties.
