The Scottish Government has announced a series of scheduled closures for the A90 due to demolition works.
Motorists have been warned to avoid the vicinity of the Forth Road Bridge when the A90 and M90 (M9 Spur) will be closed to all traffic south of Echline Junction.
This is to allow the demolition of the B800 bridge located between South Queensferry and Kirkliston, as part of the Forth Replacement Crossing project.
Essential demolition works have been planned for the weekends of 24/25 October, 31/1 October-November, and 14/15 November.
From 8pm on 24 October, 8pm 31 October and 8pm 14 November, the A90 and M90 (M9 Spur) will be closed in both directions through to a latest re-opening time of 6am the following Monday morning.
Diversions will be in place throughout the closures.
Steven Brown, Roads and Infrastructure Manager at Transport Scotland, said: "The team intends to demolish the old B800 bridge over three weekends, avoiding Remembrance Sunday. We will work closely with our contractor to ensure every effort is made to reduce the duration of the closure and to lift the restrictions as early as is possible."
