Council Announces Carriageway Resurfacing Works

Resurfacing works are due to take place on a carriageway in West Lothian.

Roadworks on the A706 Whitburn to Longridge road are scheduled to begin on 12 October until 30 October.

A spokesperson from West Lothian Council said: "Resurfacing such a large stretch of road is a major project but all appropriate measures are being put in place to minimise disruption to the local community and motorists."

Diversions will be in place.
