Scotland TranServ To Carry Out £348,000 Resurfacing Project

Scotland TranServ is to carry out over £348,000 of essential maintenance works on a trunk road of the A78, it has been announced.

Resurfacing work between the Montefod and Chapelhill Roundabouts is scheduled to take place from 10pm on Friday, 2 October.

The road will be closed until 5am on Monday, 5 October.

Gordon Wilson, contract director, Scotland TranServ, said: "This essential maintenance scheme will improve the resilience of this section of the A78, which is used by over 8,000 road users each day, for years to come."

Diversions will be in place.
