FMP Construction To Develop Leisure Facilities

FMP Construction has started work to develop new leisure facilities in Aberdeenshire.

The council is investing £12.7m across leisure, sports and community facilities in Banff and Macduff.

FMP will create a new pavilion and football pitches in Macduff at the Myrus Pavilion.

The football pitches will be retained in the short term during the construction period. The existing pitch will be shortened and fencing installed as a temporary measure.

Demolition of the existing pavilion and formation of the all-weather pitch will begin next summer.

The project is expected to be completed in September 2016.
