Transport Scotland are holding a number of public exhibitions to display upgrade plans for a section of the A82.
Local communities and road users are invited to view the proposals for the ten mile stretch which runs along the shoreline between Tarbet and Inverarnan.
The events will give the public an opportunity to view the preferred route option, meet the design team and provide feedback.
Transport Minister Derek Mackay said: "The stretch of the A82 between Tarbet and Inverarnan presents many complex engineering challenges and environmental considerations, given its location between Loch Lomond and the West Highland rail line.
"However, we are committed to ensuring this key route connecting the central belt to the Highlands and Islands is fit for purpose and have already pressed ahead with the initial £2 million design programme.
"We now have a preferred route option identified and we are keen to unveil our proposals."
Details of the exhibitions are as follows:
• Wednesday, 30 September, 12pm – 7pm, Three Villages Hall, Arrochar, Argyll & Bute.
• Thursday, 1st October, 12pm – 7pm, Crianlarich Village Hall, Main Street, Perthshire.
