A new £750,000 artificial sports pitch has opened in the Scottish Borders.
The new facility, developed next to Selkirk High School, was opened on 07 September.
The 2G-surface project received £500,000 in funding from the council, and £250,000 from sportscotland.
Stewart Harris, Chief Executive of sportscotland, said: "It's fantastic to see the synthetic pitch at Selkirk officially opened. The significant investment in this project will help to provide more and better opportunities for people to play sport and will be a real asset to the local community."
