Argyll and Bute Council is due to begin the third stage of a town regeneration project.
The council will start a £2.2m initiative to repair town centre buildings in Campbeltown.
Properties in and around Main Street and Longrow South will be targeted, including the replacement of decked areas in the rear of courtyard tenements.
A small grant scheme for local businesses will also operate for repairs such as roofing, leadwork, gutters, windows and doors.
A drop in event is being held for the community to find out more about the plans for the future of the town.
It will take place on 18 September from 12pm to 3pm at 3 Harvey's Lane, Burnside Square.
