Scottish Water has announced its engineers are working to repair a burst water main in North Lanarkshire.
It is understood the incident occurred as a result of the local network recharging following repairs to a burst water main in Cumbernauld yesterday, 3 September.
The second burst in Greenfauld Road is believed to have been caused by changes in pressure to the system.
Engineers are using a backfeed to introduce water supplies from other parts of the local network while the repair work progresses.
