Hub South East Scotland along with contractors GRAHAM Construction will develop the new primary school in Duns.
The project includes relocating the primary school and creating a new Berwickshire Locality Support Centre within the former Berwickshire High School building.

Work on the scheme is now due to begin in the coming weeks, with a scheduled completion date in early 2017.
The project is part funded by the Scottish Futures Trust (SFT).
Paul McGirk of Hub South East Scotland said: "It's exciting to reach this major milestone and know that work will soon be able to start on construction, making these plans for Duns Primary a reality.
