Inverclyde Council has announced the completion of a new facility for young people.
The former Gamble Nursery in Gourock has been transformed into a new iYouth Zone thanks to a £73,000 investment by the council.
Councillor Terry Loughran said: "The new facility has internet and computer access, arts and crafts, a pool table, café and meeting rooms.
"Most importantly it offers a safe place for young people to meet up and socialise while also gives them access to advice and support when it is needed.
"The iYouth Zone projects have been hugely successful in Port Glasgow and Greenock so I am delighted we have managed to extend it to Gourock."
The new facility will be open five days and evenings a week from 1 September 2015 for young people aged between 12- to 25-years-old.
In November 2014, the council approved a £288,000 funding package for iYouth Zones in Port Glasgow and Gourock following a successful two-year project in Greenock.
The facility in the former Boglestone Library on Dubbs Place opened in March this year.
