East Lothian Council has announced essential carriageway resurfacing works are to take place next week.
Roadworks will be carried out on Linkfield Road, Musselburgh beginning on 17 August.
The works should last for approximately three weeks.
The resurfacing will be undertaken in three phases to minimise delays. This will enable the council to maintain access into Beulah, Windsor Gardens and Craighall Terrace using three-way traffic lights.
In order to assist with traffic management, the council added it will be necessary to close Ash Grove during phase three of work.
