Hub South West Scotland has delivered the £19m Wishaw Health Centre to NHS Lanarkshire. The Houldsworth Centre was handed over on 7 August.
The building, which will be a joint facility with North Lanarkshire Council, sits on the site of the old Wishaw Library and is a mix of three- and five-storey building developments.
The health centre has been designed around a full five-storey atria providing a focal point for both staff and the public.
The building incorporates a standardised, ventilated and air conditioned room format, allowing NHS Lanarkshire to be flexible in its department layout.
The council facility sits adjacent to the main entrance of the building and will integrate the new Wishaw Library complete with First Stop Shop and Bank, along with the new local area Housing Office.
In addition, a new café will be developed at the front entrance.
