Art Gallery To Undergo Essential Roof Works

Dundee City Council has announced visitors to The McManus art gallery and museum will be unable to use two of the facility's galleries next week.

The Dundee and the World Gallery, Long Gallery and associated learning spaces will be closed from 10 August until 16 August.

The closure is necessary to allow scaffolding to be erected for essential roof works.

Work on the roof of the Here and Now Gallery is expected to be completed by early November when it will reopen with a special exhibition.

The council added all other areas of the gallery will be open as usual during the works.
