Argyll and Bute Council has announced it is to host its third sustainable design awards.
The ceremony recognises, promotes and celebrates examples of exceptional design quality while also giving developers the opportunity to have their work endorsed by planning professionals.
There are a total of four categories:
• Small scale residential developments.
• Larger scale housing projects.
• Commercial/community/industrial (called non-residential) buildings.
• Refurbishments of existing buildings.
Councillor David Kinniburgh said: "These awards give people a tremendous opportunity to have their work professionally endorsed by the council's planning team.
"Our planning service works to support sustainable economic growth, making things happen and encouraging exceptional developments."
The 2015 awards will consider completed projects that have a Building (Scotland) Act 2003 Completion Certificate dated between 1 January 2012 and 30 June 2015.
The deadline for entries is 30 September.
