Scottish energy company SSE has achieved a safety milestone on the Ferrybridge Multifuel 1 (FM1) project in West Yorkshire.
The FM1 scheme is being developed on land adjacent to Ferrybridge C Power Station near Knottingley and is nearing the end of the construction phase.
The project recently achieved one-million man-hours without a lost time injury for the second time.
Dave Taylor, Health and Safety Manager for Multifuel Energy, said: "Achieving one million man hours is a fantastic safety milestone for the project and one that everyone associated with the project can be proud of."
To celebrate the achievement, three local charities were suggested by the projects workforce to receive a donation.
