Transport Scotland has announced the A90 between the Ferrytoll and Admiralty junctions is to be closed in both directions due to roadworks.
The closure will take place from 10pm on 24 July until 6am on 25 July.
Transport Scotland states the closure is necessary to allow for the safe removal of existing gantry over the A90 in this area.
Planned road upgrade works will also be taken forward to the next stage.
Road markings on this stretch of the road will be altered to be suitable for the next phases of traffic management to be applied over this section of the A90.
The works are part of a major upgrade to the road network in Fife as part of the Forth Replacement Crossing project.
