North Lanarkshire Council has announced its housing service has passed a Risk Assessment by the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR).
The SHR is an organisation that safeguards and promotes the interest of over 500,000 local authority tenants cross Scotland.
It recently carried out a detailed risk assessment of all 32 Scottish councils.
North Lanarkshire are one of nine authorities that were found to need 'no further action' taken.
The service areas monitored by the regulator include housing repair services, tenant satisfaction and completion of annual gas safety checks.
Councillor Sam Love said: "To be one of only nine local authorities to pass the assessment with no further action or inspection being necessary is excellent news and testament to the quality of services we are providing."
