A paddling pool in the Highlands has delayed opening due to an assessment being carried out at the facility.
Significant repairs are required for the pool at Nairn Links.
Local councillors have approved temporary repairs to take place while a longer term solution is investigated.
Works will start on site on 6 July and it is expected they will take at least three weeks to complete.
This allows for a five to seven day 'drying' period before filling with water.
However, any removal of screed, repair and application along with curing/drying any paint is weather dependent.
Councillor Laurie Fisher said: "It seems that a permanent repair will be a lengthy and expensive job, so we have agreed to undertake a temporary repair to allow the paddling pool to open."
