A new cycle and pedestrian path has been revealed in Linlithgow.
The new local authority and Sustrans funded ramp is now open to the public for use.
The £230,000 project provides a 323 metre long and three metre wide ramp from the canal towpath and Xcite Linlithgow Leisure Centre.
A two metre wide and 31 metre long footpath link has also been developed linking the cycle path with the Kettilstoun residential area.
Executive Councillor for the environment, Tom Conn, said: "We hope this new connection, the first of several on the towpath in Linlithgow, will support local residents and visitors to make sustainable travel choices, reducing parking and traffic impacts at the leisure centre and elsewhere in the town."
